What is a casting database or, if you prefer, an agency good for?

And what can it be good for you? We will describe in this article.

1. Filming an advertisement, film or clip

We have used the casting database countless times for filming purposes.

We often need to find people with certain features or skills.

Whether it is ethnicity, language, skill, age, hair color or acting experience, we are able to find the person very quickly.

We have been looking for a casting database for a long time, which has thousands of registered actors, actresses, models, hostesses, singers, athletes, artists and extras.

Thanks to the 20 filters that this database has, we can quickly find suitable people for an advertisement, a music video or even as an extra.

Subsequently, either a classic casting is organized in studios anywhere throughout the Czech Republic, where a given scene is filmed with the given protagonist and photos are taken.

Or an online casting is done. (This has become very popular, especially during the COVID pandemic.)

This means that people send their recorded performances on their phones and they are sent to the director/client.

Online casting has recently been a very popular method of quickly and cheaply finding protagonists for an advertisement, music video, or even a film/series.

Thanks to the increasing quality of video recordings from phones, you can simply record your performance in your room, saving both production money and the time of the protagonists, who do not have to go anywhere and wait in line for casting.

2. Hostesses

Clients often contact us saying they need hostesses for events.

We will search for hostesses in a given region according to the specified criteria and deliver them.

It is faster and less laborious than looking for hostesses through friends or writing on Facebook.

Each hostess has her own profile in our database, where she has filled in her experience, so we immediately know who she is and whether she is reliable and has good reviews.

3. Voice database

When dubbing voiceovers for animations or commercials, it is very useful for us to find a certain type of voice - childish, female, deep male, etc.

A database is ideal for this.

We filter out a certain type of voice very quickly and we can immediately offer the client the voice they need.

We usually send 5-10 voices for selection so as not to overwhelm the client.
